What is ACP-SC?
The Adult Career Pathways Training and Support Center (ACP-SC) is a website that supports adult education practitioners interested in developing, designing, and enhancing Adult Career Pathways. The website provides:

  • Online access to instructional resources;
  • The ability to share and review resources submitted from the field; and
  • Professional development opportunities in the form of events, instructional courses, and a growing community of practice.

Who should register to use ACP-SC?
ACP-SC supports practitioners working in adult education organizations, postsecondary institutions, workforce development programs and anyone else with an interest in understanding, developing, and implementing Adult Career Pathways. The site provides resources for classroom instructors, program administrators, university faculty, and other education and training practitioners as well as state staff and policymakers.

What can I find in the ACP-SC?
Through ACP-SC users can access the latest information and high-quality resources about adult career pathways instruction, support services, and training, and engage with an active community of practice dedicated to advancing and implementing career pathways.

How will I know when new resources, instructional courses, or events are added to the website?
There are several ways to stay current on ACP-SC updates. All registered users will receive bimonthly newsletters that include news from the field and timely announcements on activity in the online community. Users are also encouraged to follow ACP-SC on Twitter (@Career_Pathways) and Facebook.

What is my personal profile?
A personal profile allows registered users to save resources and keep a record of events they have attended or for which they have registered. Users also have the option of entering additional information to engage in the community of practice.
